Miller, 70, of Pineville, died Thursday night, March 10, in Rapides General Hospital, after a lengthy illness. A Catahoula Parish native, he was a retired ticket agent for Continental Trailways here. Miller, who was a cook at the CC Camp in Pleasant Hill during the 1930's has many friends throughout Sabine Parish. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Malda Bruce Miller of Pineville; two sisters, Mrs. Florine Gould of Lecompte, and Mrs. Elma Beard of Alexandria; one brother, Roy S. Miller of Deville, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, in the Pineville Chapel of Hixson Bros., with Rev. J. B. Wascom officiating. Burial was in Big Island Memorial Gardens.
