Jessie F. Miller

  Mr. Jessie F. Miller, 83, died on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Heritage
Manor Nursing Home, following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ola D. Miller of Florien; one
son, John Wiley Miller of Dallas, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs.
John W. Neel of Shreveport, Miss Thelma Miller of Florien, and
Mrs. Patsy Arnold of Alexandria; one sister, Mrs. Martha Murphy
of Natchitoches; 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m.,
in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Phillip Tisdale,
and the Rev. Truman Leach officiating. Burial will be in the Mt.
Zion Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.
