The Sabine Index - John M. Miller

  8 May 1942 - Last rites for John M. Miller were held last
Thursday at Pleasant Hill church, ward two, Rev. H. A. Martin
officiating, interment Pleasant Hill cemetery, Dennis-Green
funeral home in charge.

  Surviving are wife, Mrs. Laura Miller, Toro; four children, one
son, J. L. Miller of Santa Rosa, Texas, three daughters, Mrs.
Leon Castleberry of Santa Rosa, Texas, Miss Ruth Miller of Lake
Charles and Miss Edith Miller of Zwolle.

  Mr. Miller died suddenly late last Wednesday of heart attack. He
was a well known farmer and merchant of Toro community, having
many friends in the parish, where he had resided for life.
