Miller, originally from Many, died Friday, May 7, at 3:40 p.m., at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital, following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Monday, May 10, at 10 a.m., at the Natchitoches Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Kenneth Dutile presiding and conducting, and Bro. Hulen Clark officiating. Also assisting were President Tim Durr, Bro. Charles F. Cagle, and Dr. Jim McCorkley. Burial was in the Bellwood Cemetery, under the direction of the Lakeview Funeral Home of Natchitoches. Mr. Miller is survived by his widow, Mrs. Evie N. Miller of Natchitoches; two daughters, Evon Wheland of Warren, Tex., and Etoilee Augilar of Channelview, Tex.; three brothers, Raymond Miller of Kirbyville, Tex., Oran Miller of Nederland, Tex., and Alvin Miller of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Malva Hardy, and Mrs. Mettie Cobb, both of Many; eight grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gary Webb, Tal Robinson Jr., John Robinson, Steve Robinson, Lee Odom, and Wade Miller.
