Miller, originally of Many, died Friday, May 7, at 3:40 p.m., at Natchitoches Parish Hospital, due to an extended illness. Funeral services were held Monday, May 10, at 10 a.m., at Natchitoches Word Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with the Bishop Kenneth Dutie, Bro. Charles F. Kagley, Dr. Jim McCorkley, Bro. Vernon Dutie, and president Time Durr officiating. Burial was at Bellwood Cemetery, under the direction of Lakeview Funeral Home in Natchitoches. Mr. Miller is survived by his widow, Mrs. Evie N. Miller of Natchitoches; two daughters, Evon Wheeland of Warren, Tex., and Etoile Aguilar of Channelview, Tex.; three brothers, Raymond Miller of Kirbyville, Tex., Oran Miller of Port Neches, Tex., and Alvin Miller of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Malva Hardee, and Mrs. Mettie Cobb, both of Many; eight grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gary Webb, Tal Robinson, Jr., John Robinson, Steve Robinson, Lee Odom, and Wade Miller.
