Mrs. Florie S. Virginia Miller

  Mrs. Florie S. Virginia Miller, 88, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000,
in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 9, at Zion
Hill Baptist Church, with interment following at Zion Hill
Cemetery. The Rev. Billy Burkett, and the Rev. Lee Dickson
officiated.

  Survivors include two sons, Julius N. Miller, and wife Irmgard
of Ragley, and Robert C., Miller and wife Jean of Grand Cane;
three sisters, Janie Campbell and husband Dare of Baton Rouge,
Mae Thorpe and husband Carroll of Montgomery, Texas, and Lou
Averitt of Mobile, Ala.; one brother, Lee Sibley of Negreet;
grandsons, Dr. Larry R. Miller and wife, Cecilia of Baton Rouge;
great grandchildren, Robert, and Thomas Miller; and a host of
nieces and nephews.

  Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Vercie R.
Miller.
