Mrs. Bessie Miller

  Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Miller of Florien, were held
Sunday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m., at Florien First Baptist Church, with
Bro. Mack Brister officiating. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Miller died Friday, September 7, 1984, at Heritage Manor
Nursing Home, at 10 a.m. She was 89 years old.

  Survivors include one niece, Mrs. Bessie Mae Fletcher of New
Llano, La.; five nephews, Clifford Marshall of Leesville, E. G.
Marshall of New Llano, Harvey Stoker, and James Stoker, both of
Dallas, and James Beasley of Natchitoches.

  Pallbearers were Ralph Matthews, Bob Cook, W. L. Dees, Sid
Lucius, W. G. Lilly, W. R. Turner, Quinton Corley, and Melton
Wright.
