Services were held at Antioch Baptist Church on Jan. 1, 195, at 23 p.m., with the Revs. Lowell Reichardt, Jimmy Evans, and Mack Brister officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Ted Miller, Paul Miller, Maurice Miller, Dale Miller, Steve Carrol, and V. L. Leach, Jr. Miss Miller taught school for 40 years. Twenty-two of those years was spent teaching in Sabine Parish, with ten years teaching in New Iberia. Also 18 years with the Volunteer Mission Work Iberia Baptist Assoc. She attended and graduated from Normal College, Natchitoches, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree; and also the South Western Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Tex., with a B. A. in Religious Education. She was a member of the Pollock First Baptist Church, and had been the W. M. U. director since 1959, Mission Friends, Acting Young Women's Sunday School Class, and worked with the Vacation Bible School program. Miss Zora was very active until her recent illness. She is survived by two brothers, Pascal and Melvin Miller, both of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Ona V. Bailey of Pollock, La.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
