Miller Floyd Eugene Miller, 69, of Dayton, died at 2:32 p.m., Tuesday, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont. He was born in Sabine Parish, and was a resident of Bridge City, before moving to Dayton. He retired from Dr. Pepper Bottling Co., where he worked as a salesman, and was a World War II Army veteran. Services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, with the Rev. W. P. Murchianson officiating. Graveside services were at 4 p.m., Thursday, at Little Flock Baptist Cemetery in Many. Survivors include his wife, Cleo Esta; a son, John Edward of Dayton; three sisters, Ruby Minton of Hemphill, Mary Ellen Weeks of Longstreet, and Tessie Lee Martin of Plain Dealing, La.; and two grandchildren.
