Mrs. Maida Lee Miller

  Services for Maida Lee Miller, 77, of Pleasant Hill, were held
at 3 p.m., Friday, September 11, at the Bethel Congregational
Methodist Church in Pleasant Hill, where she was a member. The
Rev. Foster Jennings, and the Rev. Ed Fenton officiated. Burial
was at Spring Ridge Cemetery near Pleasant Hill, under the
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Mansfield, La.

  Mrs. Miller died early Thursday morning, September 10, 1987, at
Willis-Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, after a long
illness. She was born in Pleasant Hill, and was a former resident
of Pineville, La.

  She is survived by one sister, Lida Bruce King of Pleasant Hill;
one brother, Rev. Walter E. Bruce, D.D., of Pearl, Miss.; and
several nieces and nephews.

  Family suggests that memorials be made to the Wesleyan College
in Florence, Miss., or the Bethel Congregational Methodist
Church.
