Miller 23 Nov 1945 - Funeral rites for Narrie A. Miller, age 67 years, were held 10 o'clock last Thursday from First Baptist Church, Rev. J. C. Clement officiated, assisted by Rev. Henry T. Young and Rev. J. D. Scott. Interment was in Many cemetery, Massingill funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were: Louis Miller, Norman Curtis, Evelyn Patrick, Herbert Gandy, Clarence Brumley, W. K. Logan. Honorary pallbearers were: John E. Jackson, C. D. Hancock, Dr. S. F. Fraser, Dr. G. F. Weber, A. L. Head, J. P. Stewart, A. L. Dailey, Vernice Wright, Volley Leach, James Salter, James Leach, Willie Miller, Ross Salter, Clarence Key, Kenneth Pensonot. Surviving are: wife, Mrs. Pearl McMillan Miller, son, Osborn Miller; two daughters, Mrs. J. A. Key, Mrs. Ray Dunigan, all of Many; grandchildren, George Ray Dunigan, Beaumont, Texas, Bob and Betty Kay Miller and Mary Beth Key, all of Many; sister Mrs. C. B. Miller, and brother B. M. Miller of Dess Mr. Miller was a native of Sabine, born 1878 at Columbas, passed away Nov. 4 after an illness of many months having spent the past eight weeks in the hospital. He resided most of his life at Florien.
