Joy Gertrude Miller

  Funeral services for Mrs. Joy Gertrude Miller, 84, of Florien,
were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, at Prospect
Methodist Church. Interment followed in the Prospect Cemetery.

  Rev. John Koelemay officiated. Burial was under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Miller passed away Tuesday, December 26, at the Sabine
Medical Center in Many.

  She is survived by her husband, Arvil Miller of Florien; one
son, Bernard "Barney" Miller of Florien; one daughter, Mary Lou
Humphries of Arlington, Texas; one brother, J. Y. Sandel of
Florien; six grandchildren; ten grandchildren; two great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
