Grover Jefferson Miller, Sr.

  Funeral services for Grover Jefferson Miller Sr., 83, were held
at Trinity Baptist Church, at 2 p.m., on Friday, March 27, with
the Rev. Noah Langley officiating. Interment followed at the Holy
Family Cemetery in New Iberia.

  Mr. Miller died Tuesday, March 24, at Lincoln General Hospital
in Ruston.

  He was a native of Florien, and a resident of Ruston. He retired
in 1972, from the U. S. Federal Civil Service, as an Ammunition
Procurement Officer. He continued to work after retirement at
various jobs, until 1991.

  He is survived by two sons, Grover J. Miller Jr. of Lafayette,
and Donald S. Miller of New Iberia; three daughters, Mrs. James
(Frankie) Knight of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Mrs. Steve
(Jean) Marcotte of New Iberia, and Mrs. Dennis (Karen) Weger of
Ruston; twelve grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
