Mrs. Asa Miller

  Funeral services were held Oct. 4, for Mrs. Asa Miller, 88, who
died in Shreveport, after an extended illness.

  The services were held at the Antioch Baptist Church, with the
Rev. V. R. Miller, and the Rev. Frank Chance officiating.

  Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, with Warren Funeral Home in
charge.

  Survivors include one son, Troy Miller of Texarkana, Texas; four
daughters, Mrs. Opal Easley, and Mrs. Gertie Williams, both of
Shreveport, Mrs. John Wright of Florien, and Mrs. Van Lee of
Leesville; three sisters, Mrs. Paul white of Sour Lake, Texas,
Mrs. C. E. Russell of DeRidder, and Mrs. E. C. Paijean of
Galveston, Texas; 10 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Howard Anthony, J. D. Salter, Reo Wright, M. G.
Anthony, George Cook, and C. R. Anthony.
