Miller, 68, a retired carpenter and long time resident of Kilgore, died at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 14, 1963, at Roy H. Laird Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. A native of Many, Mr., Miller moved to Kilgore from Texarkana in 1935. He was a deacon in the First Baptist Church there. Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Kilgore, with the pastor, the Rev. Dr. Tom Trammell officiating. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., at Fort Jesup. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Lila Miller of Kilgore; three brothers, Lonzo, and Clarence Miller of Many, and Fred A. Miller of Dallas.
