N. Watson Miller

  N. Watson Miller of Stamford, Tex., who was a brother of retired
postmaster, J. Wiley Miller of Many, died Saturday, Aug. 4. Older
residents of Many will remember that Watson Miller was born Oct.
26, 1877, in Sabine Parish. He grew up and worked here before
going to West Texas. He married there and then returned here for
a few years, living in the home now occupied by Postmaster
Charles Williams. Mr. Watson Miller and his family later moved to
Stamford, Tex.

  Mr. Miller leaves behind a host of friends; his wife; his
brother; a large family of children and grandchildren. He was an
active Christian until he suffered a stroke in 1952. Services and
interment were in Stamford, Texas.
