John D. Moony Sr.

  John David Moony Sr., 75, of Pleasant Hill, died Friday, June 8,
in DeSoto General Hospital, after a short illness.

  Services were at 2 p.m., in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with
the Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiating. Burial followed in the
church cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mollie Cox Moony of Pleasant
Hill; one son, Dave Moony Jr. of Mansfield; one daughter, Mrs.
Johnnie Moony McGee of Shreveport; two brothers, Jessie Robert
Moony of Marthaville, and Allen Pinky Moony of Sacramento,
Calif.; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
