Lee Mains

  Funeral services were held for Lee Mains, 89, in the Mt. Freedom Baptist
Church Tuesday, Jan 26, at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. the officiating ministers were
the Rev. Earl Marr, the Rev. Barney Cabra, and the Rev. Taylor.

  Mr. Mains died Jan. 25 after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives are five sons; Freeman Mains of Bossier City, Roy, and
Elzie Mains, both of Many, and Dawson and Hubert Mains, both of New Iberia;
four daughters, Mrs. Evie Hillman and Mrs. Selma Scaife, both of Many, Mrs.
Mary Lee Hogan of Lake Charles, and Mrs. Vertie Carroll of Lakewood, Calif.;
27 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

  The pallbearers were his grandsons.
