Charlie E. Monk 
  
  Charlie Eugene Monk, 63, of Natchitoches, died Friday, Jan. 19, 
in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital, following a brief illness. 
  
  Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 21, in the 
First Baptist Church, with Dr. James Carter officiating, assisted 
by the Rev. D. W. Hudnall. Burial was in the Fern Park Cemetery, 
under the direction of the Blanchard Funeral Home of 
Natchitoches. 
  
  Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Lisa Ann Monk of 
Natchitoches; two brothers, Walter Monk, and Mayoun Wedgeworth, 
both of Natchitoches; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Bush, and Mrs. David 
Goodman, both of Many.
