Manasco, 71, of Many, died Thursday, April 19, at 11 p.m., from an extended illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21, at 2 p.m., at the Emmanuel Gospel Church, with the Rev. Dunn Huckaby officiating. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ronald G. Colston, Donnie Dale Colston, Terry Colston, Forest Frances, Norman Dockens, and Jerry Manasco. Survivors are his wife, Gladys Manasco of Many; one son, the Rev. Lehman Manasco of Many; two daughters, Miss Ruby Manasco of Many, and Mrs. Dora Mae Colston of Beaumont; two brothers, Julius Manasco of Robeline, and Luther Manasco of Fisher; four sisters, Mrs. Rendy Bradshaw of Bisbee, Arizona, Mrs. Cora Holland of Vowells Mill, Mrs. Alice Self of Many, and Mrs. Mattie Lee Howell of Robeline, and seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
