Mrs. Mims is survived by two sons, Malcolm E. Mims, and Martin H. Mims, both of Shreveport; a daughter, Mrs. Wilton M. Anthony of Shreveport; two brothers, John Varnado, and Morris Varnado, both of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Reuben Goodman of Many, and Mrs. R. R. Salter of Van, Tex.; 4 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Many First Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 10, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Rod Smith officiating. Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Glen Salter, John Bill McCormick, Glen Knippers, Ray Salter, Melvin House, and Barney Cabra.
