The Sabine Index - Roy O. Maines

  10 Oct 1952 - Funeral services for Roy O. Maines, 62, who
died at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, at DeSoto General hospital,
Mansfield, were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Bayou Scie
church by Dr. George Harbuck of Mansfield, assisted by Rev. A. D.
St. Amant of Zwolle, Funeral arrangements were under the
direction of Waren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were J. C. Maines, Grady Maines, David Gayer, S.
L. Campbell, Wesley Webb and Preston Barr.

  Mr. Maines is a native of Many but has resided the
past four years in Mansfield.

  Surviving relatives include; wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Nabours,
of Mansfield; brothers, R. I. and C. I. of Zwolle, W. E. of Big
Springs, Texas; sisters, Mrs. A. H. Boekee, of Dallas, Texas.
