Mark M. Maines

  Mr. Mark M. Maines, 75, of Florien, died June 5, at 4:30 p.m.,
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Florien Baptist Church on
Tuesday, June 6, at 4:30 p.m., with the Rev. Delmar Rogers
officiating. Interment was in the Ebenezer Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are his widow, Mrs. Estelle Maines of
Florien; two sons, Trenice Maines of Many, and Kenneth Maines of
Florien; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Weir, of Shreveport, and
Mrs. Marie Hutsell of Natchitoches; three brothers, H. E. Maines,
and Riley Maines both of Natchitoches, and Tom Maines of
Goldonna; two sisters, Mrs. D. L. Hennigan of Marthaville, and
Mrs. Gladys Webb of Texas; 12 grandchildren, and 2 great
grandchildren.
