  Douglas Lee Mains - November 1, 1973

  Douglas Lee Mains, 46, of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, died on
Tuesday, Oct. 23, as a result of an accident.

  Mains is survived by his wife, Stella Mains of New Orleans; a
daughter, Mrs. Sheryln Whitson, Pampa, Tex.; two step-sons
Gilbert Igo of Dallas, and John Igo of Lubbock, Tex.; his mother
and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Tanner of Dayton, Tex.; and a
brother Jack Mains of New Orleans.

  Funeral services were held at the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church on
Monday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
