The Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiated, with interment at the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mrs. Mains died Sunday, September 6, at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport. She was devoted to her community, her church, and her family, until her death. She was an active member of the Many First Baptist Church, and Hodges Gardens Volunteer Guild. She is survived by two sons, Charles Mains of Seabrook, and Edwin Lites of Many; two sisters, Odie Williams of Tyler, and Dorothy O'Quinn of Metairie; two brothers, Cecil Brumley of Converse, and Hubert Brumley of Converse; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were James A. Brumley Jr., Bobby Williams, Harold Brumley, Terry Brumley, Clyde Williams, Harold Williams, Walter Mains, and Leslie W. Lites. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
