Mr. Ronald Monk

  Mr. Ronald Monk, 25, of Crowley, died Thursday, June 11, in
Crowley.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 13, at
Laurel Hill Baptist Church in LaCamp. The Rev. Sherman Busby, the
Rev. Gary Johnson, the Rev. Dewey Wilkinson, and the Rev. Wesley
Roy Jr. officiated.

  Mr. Monk was born in Many. He graduated from Crowley Baptist
School in 1990, and then attended Remington and LSU. He served in
the U.S. Navy from 1990-1994, and was currently serving in the
Active Reserve. Ronald was a member of Crowley Baptist Church.

  Survivors include his parents, the Rev. Don and Carolyn Monk of
Crowley; two brothers, Mathew and Donald Monk, both of Crowley;
two sisters, Rhonda Stolzle of Queen City, Texas, and Shellie
Sumler of Many; and grandmother, Dollie Roberts of Leesville.
