Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, at First Baptist Church in Florien, with interment following at Florien Cemetery. The Rev. Vernon Stephenson, the Rev. Bobby Franklin, and the Rev. Grady Roundtree officiated. Survivors include his widow, Carolyn Manasco of Florien; three daughters, Carol Sue Walker and husband Rodney of Ajax, Brenda McNeely and husband Timmy of Florien, and Stefanie Lightfoot and husband Keith of Many; one son, Keith Manasco of Florien; three sisters, Judy Conerly, and Robbie Edwards, both of Florien, and Vicky Willis of Kilgore, Texas; one brother, Rodney Manasco of Carthage, Texas; stepmother, Lovie Manasco; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mr. Manasco was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delma Johnson; and his parents, Lottie Rogers, and Rueban Manasco. Pallbearers were Quinton Corley, Dwane Calhoun, Billy Pickett, Harold Dillard, Ed Corley, and Mike Jones.
