She was a member of United Pentecostal Church of Many. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Jan. 22, at United Pentecostal Church in Many, with interment following at Ft. Jesup Cemetery. The Rev. C. J. Walea officiated. Survivors include four daughters, Gertie Doherty, Barbara Seals, and Nelda Robinson, all of Laurel, Miss., and Carolyn Manasco of Florien; two sons, Cecil Manasco of Laurel, Miss., and David Manasco of Soso, Miss.; four sisters, Rita Manasco of Covington, Evelyn Mitchell, and Brenda Curtis, both of Robeline, and Barbara Scalese of Leesville; and three brothers, Maurice Powell of DeRidder, Perry Powell of Robeline, and Michael Powell of Provencal; 23 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Manasco was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Manasco; two sons, George, and Jack Manasco; son-in-law, T. C. Seals; grandson, Clay Seals; and five brothers. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
