All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** George Manshack Sr. Funeral services for Mr. George Manshack Sr., 92, were held at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Noble, where he was a faithful member, on Friday, June 30, at 10 a.m. Interment was in St. Catherine's Catholic Cemetery, with Father Buvens officiating. A rosary was performed for Mr. Manshack, Thursday, June 29, at 6 p.m., in Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Mr. Manshack died Wednesday, June 28, 1989, at 2:15 p.m., in the DeSoto General Hospital in Mansfield, La. Survivors include three sons, J. T. Manshack, Mayo Manshack, and George Manshack Jr., all of Converse, La.; six daughters, Ellen Childress, and Mary Picard of Converse, Zula Davis of Hemphill, Tex., Rena Horton of Milam, Tex., Oleta Streetman of Minden, and Eula Newman of Virginia; one sister, Lodie Manshack of Noble; one brother, Manuel Manshack of Converse; and a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Keith Manshack, Daniel Brosch, Nonie Hicks, Sonny Manshack, Tim Sepulvado, Troy Manshack, Randy Manshack, and Zane Brosch.
