John Thomas Manshack

  Funeral services for Mr. John Thomas Manshack, 73, were held
Saturday, August 29, 1992, at 10 a.m., in St. Catherine's
Catholic Church, with Father Ken Williams officiating. Burial
followed in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Noble, under the
direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.

  Mr. Manshack died August 27, 1992, at his residence.

  Survivors include his wife, Mary Edna Manshack of Converse; four
sons, John Earl Manshack of Marshall, Texas, Maurice Manshack of
Panola, Texas, Sonny Manshack, and Troy Manshack, both of
Shreveport; five daughters, Marie Hicks of Converse, Rose Procell
of Noble, Betty Myers of Austin, Josie Goodman, and Linda Craven,
both of Shreveport; six sisters, Mary Violet Picard, and Ellen
Childress, both of Converse, Rena Hardin, and Zula Davis, both of
Hemphill, Texas, Oleta Streetman of Minden, and Eula Newman of
Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, Mayo Manshack, and George
Manshack, both of Converse; 26 grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were his grandsons.
