Survivors include her husband, William Mancil of Nacogdoches, Tex.; two sons, Don and Chester Whitton, both of Bryan, Tex.; five daughters, Mavielee Shaw of Nacogdoches, Marline Vines of Noble, and Sadie Blundell, Blanche Spears, and Margie Ustick, all of Houston; two brothers, five sisters; 26 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Bayou Scie Methodist Church on Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. The Rev. J. P. Taylor officiated. Burial was in the Bayou Scie Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Lee Batson, Bennie Rivers, Luke Rivers, Marvin Pipps, A. C. Ebarb, and Tony Wheeler.
