Rufus Mancil

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Jan. 21, for Rufus Mancil,
81, who died at his home, January 19, after a short illness.

  The services were held at Ft. Jesup Baptist Church, with the
Rev. Louis Hastings, and Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating.

  Burial was in Ft. Jesup Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral
Home in charge.

  Survivors are three sons, Carl, and Coleman, both of Hampton,
Va., Wilton Mancil of Many. Three daughters, Mrs. Alpha Hensley
of Ft. Benning, Ga., Mrs. Ruby Filtraver of San Augustine, Fla.,
Mrs. Girtie Kingrey of Many; two brothers, Edward Mancil of
Pitkin, and Edmond Mancil of Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. E. A.
Whitley of Vidor, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 10 great
grandchildren.
