Alton V. Montgomery

  Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Nettie Montgomery of
Many; two sons, Eveard A. Montgomery of Ft. Worth, Tex., and Alton
Vandee Montgomery Jr. of the U. S. Armed Forces in Japan; two
daughters, Mrs. Charlie Cook of Many, and Mrs. Ralph Rials of
Lafayette; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

  Funeral services were held in Ft. Jesup Baptist Church on Wednesday,
March 4, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Ray Pennfield, and the Rev. Neal
officiating. Burial was under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home of Many, in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
