John Dewey Montgomery

  Funeral services for John Dewey Montgomery, were held Friday,
Jan. 7, 1983, at 2 p.m., at Shady Grove Methodist Church.
Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
Interment was held at Hickory Grove Cemetery, with Bro. Wayne
Hicks officiating.

  Mr. Montgomery died Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 12:05 p.m., in
Shreveport, at the age of 80. He was a resident of Bellwood.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Rena H. Montgomery of
Bellwood; one son, W. G. Montgomery of Leesville; three
daughters, Mrs. Leslie Nash of Keithville, Mrs. Howard Kile of
Longview, Tex., Mrs. Dewey W. Moss, Saginaw, Tex.; 11
grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
