Mrs. Ava Katherine Mountjoy

  Services for Mrs. Ava Katherine Mountjoy, 57, of Houston, were
held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 9, at Rose-Neath's Bossier
Chapel. The Rev. Tim Piland, pastor of Waller Baptist Church,
officiated. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery.

  Mrs. Mountjoy died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1986, in Houston. She was
born in Shreveport, and had lived 25 years in Houston. Mrs.
Mountjoy was a clerk for LaMounty Hotel.

  She is survived by her father, Columbus Lum Parker; and a son,
Harold Wayne Ehrhardt of Bossier City; three daughters, Sue Read
of Dallas, Tex., Wanda Bounds of Many, and Bonnie Bounds of
Shreveport; two sisters, Orece Arnold of Gladewater, Tex., and
Martha Earles of Bossier City; five brothers, William Parker of
Bossier City, Jimmy Parker of Kerney, Nebraska, Jeff Parker of
Houston, Tex., Charles Parker, and Carl Lynn Parker of Bossier
City; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were her brothers.
