  Eveard Alton Montgomery - July 7, 1988

  Funeral services for Mr. Montgomery, 58, of Many, were held July
4, at 10 a.m. at the Warren Meadows Funeral Home with interment
following at the Harper Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Louis Coppage and
Rev. David Parker officiated at the service.

  Mr. Montgomery passed away July 1 at his residence in Many. He
is survived by his wife Joyce Montgomery of Many, mother, Nettie
Elizabeth Montgomery of Many, one son, Shawn M. Montgomery of
Anacoco, two daughters, Diana Hardy of Many and Denise Bennett of
Florien, two step-daughters, Linda Rudd of Houston, Tex. and
Susan Rudd of League City, Texas, one brother, Alton Montgomery
of Warner Robins, GA., two sisters, Annie Cook of Many and Betty
Rials of Lafayette, two grandchildren and his mother-in-law
Phyllis Cargill of Hemphill, Texas.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
