Dottie Barnhill Mendez

  Dottie Barnhill Mendez, 63, died Wednesday, September 4, in
Bayard, after a lengthy illness. A memorial service was held
Saturday, September 7, in Bayard, Nebraska. She was a native of
Marthaville, and is survived by her husband, Jose Mendez of
Bayard, Nebraska; two sons, Ed Mendez, and John Nelson of
Scottsbluff, Nebraska; one daughter, Jerri Tomlin of Alliance,
Nebraska; one sister, Shirley Shelton; one brother, Clayton
Barnhill, both of Shreveport; five grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
