  Eveard Alton "Monty" Montgomery

  Funeral services for Mr. Eveard Alton "Monty" Montgomery, 58, of
Many, were held July 4, at 10 a.m. at the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home Chapel in Many with interment following at the Harper Chapel
Cemetery. Rev. Louis Coppage and Rev. David Parker officiated at
the service.

  Mr. Montgomery passed away, July 1, 1988, at his residence in
Many. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Montgomery of Hemphill,
Texas; his mother, Nettie Elizabeth Montgomery of Anacoco; one
son, Shawn A. Montgomery of Anacoco; two daughters, Diana Hardy
of Many and Denise Bennett of Ft. Worth, Texas; two step
daughters, Linda Rudd of Houston, Texas and Susan Rudd of League
City, Texas; one brother, Alton Montgomery of Warner Robins, GA;
two sisters, Annie Cook of Many and Betty Rials of Lafayette;
three grandchildren, and his mother-in-law, Phyllis Cargill of
Hemphill, Texas.

  Pallbearers were Wesley Martinez, Floyd Lopez, Ralph Rials,
Robert Pfaff, Louis Cain, and Ricky Lehr.
