Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 29, at Belmont Baptist Church. Officiating were Dr. Ed Scott, and the Rev. Gene Wright. Mrs. Munden was born October 22, 1930, in Belmont. She was a life long resident of Sabine Parish, and resided in Shreveport the past five years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Many, and taught school for three years before going to work for the Sabine Parish School Board, where she worked for 40 years. Survived include her husband, William Munden of Shreveport; one daughter, Sherry Lynn Clark of Shreveport; three grandchildren, Holly Ann Clarke of Rogers, Ark., Jana Renee' Freeman of Shreveport, and Ronald W. Freeman of Shreveport; two great grandchildren, Audrey Louise Clark, and William Ryan Freeman; and one very special cousin, Jo Edward Skinner of Belmont. Mrs. Munden was preceded in death by her parents, Della Callens Skinner, and her father, William Herman Skinner of Belmont. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christus Schumpert Hospice Center. Pallbearers were her cousins, Larry Skinner, Asa Skinner, Philip Haley, Jimmy Haley, Billy Callens, and Dale Skinner. Warren Meadows, Many, La.
