The Sabine Index - Mrs. S. S. Moore

  24 Nov 1933 - Mrs. S. S. Moore, age 69 years, expired at her home
in Many at 11:30 p.m. Sunday after a lingering illness of more than
a year.

  Funeral services were at Many Baptist church two o'clock Monday
afternoon, conducted by the Rev. J. M. Pate, pastor, followed by
interment in Many cemetery.

  Mrs Moore, before her marriage in 1888 was Miss Della Barron born
in Crystal Springs, Miss., moved to Many in 1897, was a charter
member of the Baptist W.M.S., and an active church member.  She is
survived by her widower, one son, Fernie Moore of Shreveport, and a
daughter, Ms. Geo. Hartman of DeRidder, as well as four grandchildren.
