Moore 27 Apr 1934 - Death came to O. F. Moore, 53, prominent Mitchell citizen at 5:30 p.m. Sunday as the result of a heart attack. Mr. Moore was born in DeSoto parish Nov. 11, 1881, and spent his entire life in DeSoto and Sabine parishes. He had been a resident of Mitchell since its founding in 1895. Funeral services were conducted at the Mitchell Methodist church at 3 p.m. Monday by the Rev. J. C. Price, pastor. Services at the grave were in charge of the Masonic lodge, of which Mr. Moore was past master of the Mitchell lodge. He is survived by his widow and one son, Attorney Olin Dean of Many, two brothers, Homer of Many and tom of Marlow, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. W. P. McFarland, Mansfield, Mrs. Jack Cavanaugh, El Dorado, Ark., and Mrs. Brown of Coushatta. (ongoing tribute)
