Ella Mae Murray

  Mrs. Ella Mae Murray, 71, and a native of Pleasant Hill, died
Tuesday, June 1, at 10:45 a.m., at Our lady of the Lake Hospital.

  The funeral, directed by Rabenhorst Funeral Home was held at 10
a.m., Thursday, June 3, in the funeral home chapel, with the
Revs. Charles Lamb, and Gene Henderson officiating. Burial was in
the Greenoaks Memorial Park.

  Survivors include her husband, James H. Murray of Zachary; three
daughters, Mrs. Rita Mae Tucker of St. Joe, Ark., Mrs. Sarah
Eloise Steele, and Mrs. Mattie (Pat) Abbott, both of Baton Rouge;
three sisters, and eight brothers, all residing out of town; 14
grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers were Earl Vickry, Harry E. Murray, Howard Chauvin,
Gordon Chauvin, George Abbott, J. C. Brown Jr., and William C.
Vickry.

  Mrs. Murray was a member of Galilee Baptist Church.
