The Sabine Index - Jake Moore

  25 Feb 1955 - Funeral services for Jake Moore, age 76 years,
who died at his home in Converse, Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 12:15
p.m., after a lengthy illness, were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at
the Converse Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Henry
Isgitt, officiating.

  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nolia Moore of Converse; two
sons, E. M. Moore and J. C. Moore, both of Converse; five
daughters, Mrs. Annie Smith, Converse, Mrs. Enzie Tyler of
Houston, Texas, Mrs. Pharzie Williams of Zwolle, Mrs. Eva Ebarb
of Converse and Mrs. Treva McCullor of Mitchell; two brothers,
Tom Moore of Converse and Jim Moore of Zwolle; two sisters, Mrs.
Tharzia Elliott of Mansfield, and Mrs. Mollie Price of Converse.

  Mr. Moore, born at Belmont, was a lifelong resident of Sabine
parish, and a member of the Converse Methodist Church.

  Interment was in the Cassell cemetery under the direction of
the Drewitt Funeral Home of Mansfield.
