Raleigh E. Moore

  Raleigh E. Moore, 79, of Marthaville, died in the DeQuincy
General Hospital on Friday, Dec. 1, at 8:45 p.m., following an
extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eura Moore of Marthaville; six
sons, Reginald Moore of Castor, La., Ray Moore of Ocean Springs,
Miss., Thomas Moore of Dallas, Texas, Robert Moore of Nederland,
Tex., Gordon Moore of Vidor, Tex., and Dale Moore of Covington,
La.; three daughters, Evelyn Davis of DeQuincy, Mildred Holden of
Ocean Springs, Miss., and Clotealle Noble of Atlanta, Tex.; one
sister; 17 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 12 step
grandchildren; and 10 step great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Pisgah Baptist Church on
Sunday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
