Moore Amos Fat Moore, 65, of Hemphill, Tex., died Wednesday, Feb. 14, in a Many Hospital, after a short illness. The funeral was held Thursday, Feb. 15, in Starr Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Vance Pertell, and the Rev. W. A. Calvin officiating. Burial was in West Hamilton Cemetery near Center, Tex. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Laverne Moore of Hemphill, Tex., three sons, Don Moore of Pineland, Tex., Cotton Moore of Houston, Tex., and Rodney Moore of Hemphill, Tex., six daughters, Carolyn Horne of Geneva, Juanita Amason of Diboll, Tex., Shirley Jasper of Huntsville, Tex., Diane Clark, and May Collis, both of Hemphill, Tex., and Helen Clegg of Brunson, Tex., two brothers, George Moore of Vincent, and Sam Moore of Noble,; three sisters, Odell Wall of Bossier City, Julie Lynch of Noble, and Artie Mae Self of Pleasant Hill, 21 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
