John A. Murray

  John Artis Murray, 70, of Bellewood, died Friday morning, April
13, in a Natchitoches Parish hospital, after a long illness.

  Services were at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 14, in Bellewood
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bob McGill, and the Rev. Delman
Rogers officiating. Burial was in the Bellewood Cemetery.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Clara Murray of Bellewood; one
son, Lenin Murray of Florien; one daughter, Linda Coutee of
Natchitoches; two brothers, Floyd Murray of Washington D. C., and
Aubrey D. Murray of Natchitoches; six sisters, Vesta Obanion, and
Ester Honeycutt, both of Bellewood, Wertie Rhodes, Angie Geter,
and Thelma Apponey, all of Natchitoches, and Addie Astling of
Sulphur; and three grandchildren.
