Mrs. Johnnie English Moore

  Services for Mrs. Johnnie English Moore, 84, of Converse, were
held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, in Henrietta Methodist Church.
The Rev. David Grinstead officiated. Burial was at Cassell
Cemetery near Converse, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral
Home of Mansfield.

  Mrs. Moore died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1987, at DeSoto General
Hospital in Mansfield, following a lengthy illness.

  Survivors include one son, Argus Moore of Many; five daughters,
Johnnie Bell Daugherty of Converse, Louise Brown, Lurline
Raimond, both of Converse, Eloise Stephens of Grand Cane, Tommye
Byford of Mansfield; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 7
great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons, Randy Moore, Gary Wayne Moore,
Keith Byford, Charlie Byford, Richard Benning, Michael Clark,
Harrison Craig Stephens, and Paul Thomas Stephens.
