Officiating was the Rev. Vernon Stephens. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Mrs. Moore died Monday, August 13, in Bossier City, following a lengthy illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pleasant Hill, and had lived in Pleasant Hill for 34 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Moore. Survivors include one son, Ray Moore of Bossier City; one daughter, Peggy Johns of Bogalusa; two sisters, Lillie Rae White of Farmerville, and Jean Barfield of Hurst, Texas; three brothers, Aron Stiles of Logansport, Fay Stiles of Logansport, and Roy Stiles of Campti; three grandchildren, Jim Moore, Richie Johns, Sonny Johns, and a host of nieces and nephews.
