Moore Jr., 73, of Shreveport, were held at 10 a.m., Monday, September 10, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with the pastor, Rev. Stephen L. Wright officiating. Burial was at Centuries Memorial Park, with Military Graveside Rites by the 12th District Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard. Mr. Moore died Friday, September 7, at the VA Medical Center, following a lengthy illness. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, the Exchange Club, and Retired Officer's Assoc. he was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Shreveport Auxiliary Police Dept., and was a volunteer for the VA Medical Center for many years. He is survived by his wife Susie Moore of Shreveport; four sons, Clayton Davis of Shreveport, Reynolds C. Moore III of Newport News, Va., Samuel Moore of Baton Rouge, Christopher Moore of Shreveport; one daughter, Charlotte DeLony of Pleasant Hill; one brother, William H. Moore of Little Rock, Ark.; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Pallbearers included Ed Moore, Peter Metoyer, Tommy Allen, Durwood Lee, Mark Floyd, Larry Alexander. The family suggest memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic School.
