All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** John Wilson Moore (Photo) Services for John Wilson Moore, age 63, of Shreveport, were conducted Wednesday, June 12, at 10 a.m., at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, La. Officiating will be Rev. Frank Eppinette, and Rev. Joe Radcliff. Interment will be at Centuries Memorial Park. Mr. Moore entered into rest Monday, June 20, at his residence, after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Arden, Arkansas, and had lived in Shreveport for 45 years. He was a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church, and the Lebanon Masonic Lodge #440. Mr. Moore was retired from the Gulf Oil Company. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Moore of Shreveport; his mother, Dovie Raybourn of Many, La.; his son, Loyd Christopher Moore and wife Brenda of Bossier City, La.; his sister, Geraldine Curtis of Many, La.; two grandchildren, Christy Leigh Moore of Dallas, Texas, and John Christopher Moore of Bossier City, La. He is also survived by several very special nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were nephews James Allen Girod, Bryan Girod, Michael Patterson, Tim Henley, Todd Simmons, and Y. S. Kidd. Honorary pallbearers were Andy Henley, Howard Patterson, Bobby Girod, Ken Keohane, and Jerry Edwards. The family would like to express special thanks to the Willis Knighton Hospice Program, and Dr. Kirit Patel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Willis Knighton Hospice Program.
